Kim White, professional hypnotist of Coastal Hypnosis and Holistics. She graduated last year, October 2023. She has used to sleep better and she's helping a lot of people with past life regression.
So Kim, welcome to the show. Great to have you here.
Kim White: Great to be here. Thank you for having me.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Oh, you bet. Let's talk about past life regression. Everybody wants to talk about past life regression. And I want to get into your story too. But man, do people love past life regression, don't they?
Kim White: They do.
Now that, we're having this shift in our times and everything, everybody wants to know, I can't say everybody, but there's more of an influx of those who want to know what their soul knew before they come into this body. And so talk more about that. Oh gosh, these sessions are
[00:01:00] amazing because, they're not therapy sessions, I want to make that clear, but ~these sessions reveal our awakening, okay, oops.~
~So~ these sessions, what they do is when my client is in hypnosis, we have the ability to talk to the soul. And it's amazing because you're fully conscious in hypnosis. You're fully aware. And so you're having this conversation with your soul. I'm simply asking the questions to your soul and your soul is talking to you and it gives a lot of insight.
So the results we've received so far is Some are like, I think I know what this is, but I want to know more. Or some are like, I know I was here for something. Tell me what it is, or I need some clarity. And they've gotten it. And so now it sends them on the trajectory of the higher good of themselves and for the highest good of all.
And that's the most amazing part. It lights up their whole whole life. It's awesome.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Wow. So they come to you. Let's walk through this. They come to you. Do they ask for a past
Kim White: life
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: regression? [00:02:00] How does this help? How do these
Kim White: clients find you? Some do. Some do who are aware of what I do. And some, it's a conversation and it could be just a casual conversation of, gosh, you're doing what you want to do.
I wish I knew what I was meant to do. And I said there's a way that you can find out. And so that's a conversation starter and that's how some of it happens as well.

Kim White: do.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Or in alignment with how they feel inside. They want to be doing something.
They're not just punching a clock or something like that. They want to have be doing something that's more meaningful. And we get a lot of that as hypnotists, right? This work is very meaningful. It's very fulfilling because we're helping people. And with this with past life regression, People get a real sense of connecting to a deeper part of themselves.
And I really love these sessions. So are you open to sharing a story about one of your clients and one of their insights that they gained from [00:03:00] this?
Kim White: Sure. One of my clients, a very educated person, science background that didn't necessarily believe in past lives per se, but knew that their soul was here before they incarnated and knew that there was there's always a purpose why I'm here.
So that was the funnest one of the most convincing one because they're in their analytical mind, right? And so even though this person, has gone to school and, has done what they wanted to do in their office, they're being pulled like there's something more. I'm pulling for something more.
I like this, but there's something more out there. I'm not quite sure what it is. And so once we did this session, typically there's two, but it was very powerful, this first session. And the soul actually validated a lot of what this client wanted to do and sent them into a direction where the client had never even thought of or dreamed of and said, you know what, that makes sense and that feels right to me.
And so [00:04:00] this client didn't per se quit their job, but now they're starting something more along the service line, taking their science background and helping those who need it for humanity. And it was that clarity. It was that validation. It was that insight.
site that woke up the spirit of my client. And so I have a follow up with them and we're going to see what they've done and we'll have another chat with their soul and, cause it's just, it's keeping on going
with that trajectory of the greatest good the highest good and 4000 thought I'd been born in the south east element.

Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Yeah. Awesome. Awesome. ~Let's talk about you. What got you into hypnosis? Why did you decide that you wanted to become a professional hypnotist? ~
Kim White: ~It's a journey. It was a little bit of a long journey. I had suffered an acute serious illness, which put me down for about three months.~
~And while I was at home, I was led to the holistic Avenue and part of it was Reiki. Then I dove into that. I loved it. And then sound. And then I was, it's just the bends in the river where you're led in your journey. And here's hypnosis. And I was like, wow, we, now we can deal with the model of the mind because I love the science of medicine and how the body works.~
~And I'm holistic health practitioner. So I know that there's alternatives to things other than mainstream. And when I took your class and we worked on the model of the mind, Fascinating. Fascinating. And you don't have to resort to pills anymore and you don't have to do all this things that really hurt the body.~
~Instead of it's being sick care, this is health care. And it's worked in my life and it's made a difference. So ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: have you used hypnosis in your life?
Kim White: I used hypnosis. I was a chronic insomniac. Years and end up taking medication to sleep to turn off the monkey mind.
And I
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: know this is a problem for a lot of our clients.
It is. And
Kim White: the problem is that the average American has 12, 000 to 60, 000 thoughts per day in their head. 80 percent of those thoughts are negative, 20 [00:05:00] percent are positive and neutral, 95 percent are negative. is repetitive for, from the day before or the week before. So if you take that 95 percent with the 80%, you get 76 percent of those thoughts every single day that are repetitive and negative.
That keeps you awake. It keeps the monkey mind. And, ~in a negative way, ~that's such a huge number. It is a huge number. It's a big number. It's a very big number.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: So 76 percent of the thoughts that we're having on a regular basis are repetitive and negative thoughts that we've had the day from the day before.
And so 70, that means 76 percent of what the average person is thinking is useless.~ ~
Kim White: ~Pretty much, it is. It's useless because it's not doing us any good. ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: And so that, this is why, even just the basic level of hypnosis. And so when we see our clients coming in just for that very first session of hypnosis, they can get such massive relief when we can help them merely just get rid of even half of that 76%.
of [00:06:00] those of the noise in their head and give people power back. This is why our clients are reporting they don't have clarity. This is why they're reporting they don't know what to do. And guess what? When people don't know what to do, they do nothing. And so now this is when people are feeling stuck and they can't make a decision.
And so people stay in this sense of stuckness for years.
Kim White: Yes, that's where I was. And so I relied on the use of medication. And then you build a tolerance and you got to stop. It's just a vicious cycle. And so I actually took, I actually had help from you and we had five amazing sessions. Yes.
And so I no longer take those pills anymore. You taught me techniques not only to rewire my brain, but when it starts, because life does happen. Those thoughts start to shut it down immediately and to be aware of those techniques. Yeah one of the techniques is the thought stopping technique.
And the thought stopping technique is that the [00:07:00] brain starts going, you ask your brain, you could either ask yourself directly or be in third person. I wonder what my brain will think of next. And the brain goes, and there's that. ~So it takes practice human nature. It is. ~It's great. And it takes practice.
Human nature is we have to practice at something to get really good at it. But instantaneously, I wonder what my brain will think of next. And your brain just stops for a second.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Wow. It's a trick question, right? Because we're asking the mind to question and the brain questions The brain, they hook the brain.
It's very interesting to ask a question. So as a professional hypnotist, you're going to be asking your clients lots of questions, right? But this one in particular is very powerful. First of all, the word wonder is a very hypnotic word. I wonder, we'll use this other times too, I wonder what else you can do when our client has really good results, right?
But this one, It almost halts the thinking mind. It's almost a [00:08:00] backdoor technique. So if you find yourself overthinking, do exactly what Kim is saying. I wonder what you will think of next. You use the pronoun you or not me, right?
Kim White: I just, I want, I say this, gosh, I wonder what my mind will think of next.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: There you go. There. Yeah. Yeah. It's a third. I wonder what my mind will think of next. So rather than saying, I wonder what I will think of next, we're putting a layer of separation there. I wonder what my mind will think of next. It almost halts the thinking We've almost asked it a direct question and it's just so I'm so glad that technique works so well for you.
I love the techniques that become effortless, that are they're hacks, we might call them hacks, but they're so effective, like the unwind technique for anti anxiety or the broccoli test for understanding [00:09:00] if we're hungry or not. These little techniques are really good tools for our clients and our clients feel out of control.
So any tool that we can give them to help them feel even a little bit of control is useful and you know that can even come in the form of the ability to take any action at all because so many of our clients feel so out of control giving them something to do like this question just ask yourself can be so powerful because
Kim White: now they have something to it is and then the most important thing too is ~that tech~ that technique is powerful but you have to start living every single day hypnotically and To prepare yourself at night, you have to prepare yourself during the day and the biggest preparation that I use that I've been taught by you is that alpha sequence.
And I do that three times a day and what I found was it not only does it help and then you can use it at night and that's also a prep at night too [00:10:00] to get your body to that alpha brainwave state, help relax the mind, and then I listen to some audios. But during the day, the practice is so important. In fact, My rebel kicked in and I thought life happens and I don't handle things the way I would have had.
I did my daily practice, but it was a test for me to see. And I told my rebel guess what? We're doing this every single day. And I love the alpha sequence. I can stop every, I don't know, I can do it in the middle of the day. I can do it, I can do it wherever if I just start getting overwhelmed and That preps me for evening sleep, and so I have not had any sleeping pills since Thanksgiving night.
Good job. And so Yeah,
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: so let's pause right there, because what you said is so important that I really want people to recognize. Good sleep starts the day before, right? Good sleep how, it helps us if we're de stressing all day long because then at the end of the day when it comes time for us to be able to ~hit our~ lay down and put our head on the pillow and [00:11:00] hopefully fall asleep and stay If we've done our de stressing all day long, there's not as much there for the brain to worry about. We've processed things, first of all, but second of all, you're actually retraining yourself. because when you start to feel a little anxious during the day and now you're basically putting a cap on that and you're saying no we're not gonna exist in that way anymore and then you do self hypnosis like the alpha sequence or something that calms your nervous system and brings you to an open and receptive state which the alpha sequence does now you're retraining your mind.
Yes,
Kim White: and that's why I brought up the thought processes throughout the day because you have to retrain your mind and flip the narrative and the Alpha Sequence is one of the tools to flip that narrative of, the 76 percent of repetitive negative thoughts, which haunt you at night. And so it's so important to incorporate that during the day.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: It's a small investment, but I think, thinking about it as an investment because the first hypnosis recording I made in 2013 was called [00:12:00] Learning to Relax and it's still I created that because a client had reported he gets so overwhelmed at work and so I created this recording and he would listen to it at 3 p.
I listened to at 3 p. m. It's 15 minutes long. And so what he reported is that he was getting done. Now we might think, oh geez, we don't always want to be able to get more things done. But the ability to focus and complete the work that is in front of us allowed him, so he would do 15 minutes at 3 p.
m. Now he goes back And we do have research that indicates. Focused relaxation is better for the body than just taking a nap. So intentionally doing some level of hypnosis the brain. And so he would come back he comes back for this 15 minutes and now he feels better.
He's more connected, he has clarity, and he's actually completing things that he wanted to [00:13:00] complete. He's sending the emails and finishing So what he found was that when he got home, He felt better because he was more productive during the day. So he felt more accomplished and he felt more confident in his own abilities.
So he was able to spend the evening with his family and enjoy his evening. Before what was happening is he would be tired and then he's trying to grind and he's trying to muscle through it. But it's hard and he's sad.
Erika Hypnosis Voice 2: And he's tired and
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: then he gets home and he's grumpy and he wasn't as productive that day.
So he's a little grumpy dad and now at night he's not sleeping as well.
Kim White: Yeah.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: So bravo. Thank you for doing the work, right? And this is the world that we live in now. We all know that when it, when we have to go to the bathroom, we get a sense in our body and most of us want to go as soon as we can.
We don't want to wait too long. Same thing with if, we do want to eat when we're hungry listen to your body. And we [00:14:00] aren't quite as good at listening to the other signals from our body when it's time to take a brain break, when it's time to take a physical break and go on a walk or something like that.
And the better we are at really listening to that and like doing the alpha sequence or I don't know, what else are you doing as a break during your day? Are there any other coping strategies that you've inserted?
Kim White: I get up and walk. We are, I'm on the Pacific Northwest and we've had quite a bit of, Bad weather, I get up I walk I exercise, there's a huge coping skill for me it's important to which helps my sleep as well But get out in nature and just soak up as much as you can, I'll even go out in the rain I don't mind getting wet but ~No, but yeah, just a to ~Just surrounding yourself with nature getting connected and grounded Yeah, it's so important.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: It really is. It really is important. And what I find is that we need to give our clients permission to do that because if my client does go on a walk or does her self hypnosis as instructed by me, [00:15:00] most clients are going to come back and report, Oh my gosh, Erika, I should have been doing this the whole time.
And I knew I should have been doing this the whole time. People are aware. that they need to be taking better care of themselves, but they don't actually know how to do it in an effective way because the thoughts in their mind is not giving them peace of mind. And so people are working out and they're doing things that are forced that to happen, right?
But we can give people the hypnosis and the alpha sequence. There's five minute version. There's a 15 minute version, but some of these tools, like we want our clients to be able to do it ~Yes. So are you listening to a recording or are you just doing the technique on your own?~
~Both. Yeah. It ~
Kim White: ~depends how much time I have throughout the day. Because I, once you get into the habit of doing it, I can do an alpha sequence in less than five minutes. But other times I've learned to listen to recordings. I started out with yours and then I've recorded my own and so I can listen to my own voice.~
~I'm giving myself love, and yeah, I both. ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: ~That's one of the things that I loved about the Alpha Sequencer and I realized, and for those of you hypnotists out there who are thinking about making your own recordings, considering your own recordings, you might even be listening to your own voice and thinking, , a, I don't like my own voice. There might be all that craziness, but I want to include saying that enlightenment is when you find the good or you meet the good friend in your and listening to recordings So I'm listening to my own recordings and it locked into me because I have a lot of negative self that I've been, years getting rid of, right?~
~And that's a big part of my, I've been doing this for a long time, and I've realized that my ~
Erika Hypnosis Voice 2: ~It's ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: ~talks. It's been a big But I realized this like maybe a month ago, or a year ago, excuse me that when I listen to my own recordings I am becoming the loving voice in my own mind.~
~And so when you read The good friend in your own mind listening to my recordings is very loving. And it was really erasing negative self And so I'm so happy to hear that you're finding the same creating your and listening Yes. There's nothing like it. They say that the human voice is the most healing in the entire world and the best like sound you could ever hear is someone that you love saying your name. So someone you love with your name in their is one of the most amazing things that we can experience. Hypnosis is very intimate.~
~It doesn't have to be right. We can do recordings and but a lot of what's going on with our clients, the emotions, they're ashamed, they're afraid. And so we really get the honor of helping people navigate some of their experiences that to them are the most painful and the voice ~
Kim White: ~It is. It truly is. Truly is. And when you learn to love your own voice, there's nothing like it. ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: What do you want your clients to know? Your potential clients sitting out there and they're like, Oh man, maybe I should do hypnosis. Maybe I want to pass life regression with Kim. What would you say to them?
Kim White: I want my clients to know that I help them with the hard things when everything else fails. And so I'm not just, I do past life regressions, but I also, I have weight loss clients who can't [00:16:00] sleep, clients who suffer from anxiety, which are three big ones that, we all, that affects sleep.
So those who want to know what their purpose is, who want to remove that veil of forgetfulness, we pierce it and talk to the soul and maybe be on a trajectory of. of a higher purpose these sessions are extremely powerful and there's techniques that make them even more powerful. So I know that I enjoy it myself and watching that soul come alive and the, you're fully conscious of it and you get to have this dialogue.
And then when you emerge from hypnosis with this clarity and this focus and this drive, you're empowered. It's really transformational and so I really would want my, prospective clients to take a look if they're questioning, what are they doing? If they're, if everything looks good on paper, my life looks good on paper, this and that, but I, there's just something more.
I, there's something more that's pulling me and I don't know what it is. If the nine to five is great, pays the bills, but there's something more that's driving [00:17:00] me.

Erika's Hypnosis Voice: use case to come talk to you, right?
Kim White: Come talk to me. Yes. Yeah.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: A lot of clients are curious about if they're going to be conscious in hypnosis or not, if they're going to like space off and be in some other dimension or something like that.
But the truth is, They are conscious, but they are in a state of hypnosis. Can you talk about that? Because I know, with past life regression, clients are often responding slowly and they really, there is a sense that they are absolutely in a different state of being. Can you talk about that a little bit?
Kim White: Yes, when you get into the different brain waves, you tend to answer a little bit slower Naturally, but the client is fully conscious at all times remembers everything and sometimes there's a lot of information and I'll write it down because if You know get a download of all this information and some of it's easy to forget but fully aware fully conscious fully interactive There's no channeling.
There's not, astral projection or anything like that You are literally in a [00:18:00] brainwave state that allows you to relax enough to where you can talk to your soul and have that veil of forgiveness pierced a little bit to learn what the soul knows before you come in. Now, there's those who believe in path by which are great.
Those who may not believe it, think that they're here for a purpose. These are the sessions that are for you. For those that are, I'm just flesh and blood. That might not be the right session for you, but you never know. You might be surprised. But yes, they're fully conscious, they're relaxed, they're at peace and yes, they do respond a little bit slower.
Sometimes it takes the soul a minute to respond, but there's a lot of information. Your soul may have lived many lifetimes and may have a lot to say.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: That's right. That's right.~ Hey, what's your favorite technique to teach clients? For past life regression? For anything. Maybe we already talked about it, but I'm just curious.~
~What technique do you like ~
Kim White: ~For sleep? It's the thought stopping Technique for anxiety. It's the unwind because I work with a lot of energy finder that it feels Where is it going? And then we unwind it and take it out of there, you know for weight loss, you know for weight loss you just, you adhere to the four principles of reprogram your weight, eat when you're actually hungry, take half, you can always go back, always have something healthy, and then eat within 30 minutes that you start feeling hunger.~
~Those principles right there will lead you to be successful. So it just depends on the client and what you're, What is it that you're being, seen for in hypnosis? There's a lot of excellent techniques out there. That's just a few. ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: ~Yeah. And thank you for repeating, reprogramming your way. That feels really good to have someone say it back to me.~
~I read your book. I love it. It works so well. It's so simple. I had a client just yesterday. She's losing two and a half pounds a week. I did do a video on this already, but she's losing two and a half pounds a week. And the point is that it's just easy This is, it's not gimmicky.~ Hypnosis takes away a lot of the effort, takes away a lot of the struggle, takes away a lot of the pain.
So I'm telling my clients, hypnosis makes it 75 percent easier. Whatever you're doing, it makes it 75 percent easier. Hypnosis is going to help with the heavy lifting, can help with the hard stuff. If you have to move or clean the garage or something [00:19:00] like that and your friends came over and said, Hey, we're going to, we're going to do 75 percent of the work for wow. I'm, I might actually think of doing it now. And yeah, thank you for all of the great work that you're doing. ~Part of the way of becoming an excellent and professional hypnotist is using hypnosis on yourself. And that's exactly what you did. Now you get to speak from a place of integrity.~
~Now you get to teach from a place that you've already learned. And we don't have to have all of these experiences that our clients have. But when you know that you've overcome and are using these own techniques. It's easy to help our clients in the ~
Kim White: ~It truly is. And ~I want our clients to know that this is very this is very important that there is no magic pill.
You participate. So now you are empowered because you participated in, overcoming whatever it was, whether it's, weight loss or sleep. You did this. It wasn't me. It was you. I just help you along. Yeah,
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: and the empowering aspect is so awesome for our clients because now they go off and do so many other things they come to us for one reason and they leave with so much.
~Awesome. Anything else that you want to share with your potential clients out there thinking about working with you? ~
Kim White: ~I am ready for, let me see, how do I say this, we'll have to edit this out because I have to think about what I want to say what if I, how do I say it without sounding too salesy, I don't want to be all salesy, ~
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: ~that's okay. We already answered this question anyway. ~How do you live hypnotically?
Kim White: How do I live hypnotically? Hypnosis every single day, a few times a day and sometimes more because, excuse me, life does happen and I get I don't put the word obstacles in my path anymore.
I say challenges because I'm up for the challenge. And so [00:20:00] sometimes the challenges are pretty difficult, they're a 10. And so I, what I found was if I live hypnotically, it takes the scale down. I'm able to conquer that challenge a little bit more easier. And so I, I do Alpha Sequence, ~Seven Path is amazing my audios, I just,~ at the point of awareness, when something starts, this is where hypnosis has really helped me.
It allowed me to become more aware instantly without it going over the top. ~And so not that hasn't happened before, that's usually when I'm not living hypnotically, but it's right. So when we have that awareness and we can stop it. Like that~ or at least minimize it some things can't be stopped, but we can minimize it to where you know, it's manageable.
Erika's Hypnosis Voice: Yeah with that awareness now, we have some level of some level of control and we can get our life awesome. Thank you for being here today Kim I want to invite all of you and how can they contact you?
